Physiotherapy is a health care field which is not only life-saving but also contributes to a person’s mental, emotional, physical and social well-being.

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course is a comprehensive program that equips students with the knowledge, skills and competencies required to become proficient physiotherapists. This course focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various physical disabilities and disorders.

The curriculum includes

• Anatomy , Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology
• Exercise therapy, Electro therapy, Biomechanics
• Orthopaedics, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics
• General Medicine, Pathology and Microbiology
• Clinical Rehabilitation
• Psychology and Psychiatry

Internship –

All students of Bachelor of Physiotherapy must undergo a compulsory rotatory internship for a period of 1 year approved by the college after passing all examinations in all subjects.

Eligibility for admission:

• Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination by recognised any Indian board or a duly constituted Board with pass marks and (50%) in aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology (botany & zoology).
• He/she has attained the age of 17 years as on – current year
• Candidate can also admit through NEET.

• The Department of Physiotherapy at Lachoo Memorial College is dedicated towards providing students with effective skillsets and competencies which are required to develop and shape the physiological knowledge through human anatomy.
