At Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students. Ragging is a serious offense that can cause physical and emotional harm to students, and it is strictly prohibited on our campus. What is Ragging? Ragging is any behavior that causes physical or emotional harm, or creates a hostile environment for a student. This includes:
  • Physical abuse or assault
  • Verbal abuse or harassment
  • Forced participation in activities
  • Exploitation or intimidation

Roles and Responsibilities: The ARC is responsible for:
  • Preventing and addressing ragging incidents
  • Conducting workshops and awareness programs
  • Providing counseling and support to victims
  • Investigating and taking action against perpetrators
Consequences of Ragging: Ragging is a serious offense that can result in:
  • Suspension or expulsion from college
  • Fines or penalties
  • Criminal charges
Procedure for Reporting Ragging: If you are a victim of ragging or witness an incident, please report it immediately to Any member of the ARC.
