National Cadet Corps (NCC)

 The NCC provides opportunities to the youth of the country for their all-round development with a sense of Duty, Commitment, Dedication, Discipline and Moral Values so that they become able leaders and useful citizens. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training. The NCC is open to all regular students of college on a voluntary basis. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook and the spirit of unity. Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology has a strength of 50 cadets. It is functioning under the guidance of 4 Raj. (AIR) SQN. NCC, Jodhpur since 2006. Various Activities are organized by our NCC unit like Training Camps, Social Service, Leadership Training camps, Cultural Activities, Firing/ shooting Practice, Awareness campaigns and Specialized Training like mountaineering, aero-modeling, para-sailing etc. On January 26, 2024, Cadet Warrant Officer Krishna Rathore from our unit participated in the prestigious Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, Delhi. She was the only girl selected from the unit, marking a significant achievement.
