It is the first & only 'A' grade college in the Western Rajasthan with A Grade in three consecutive cycle awarded by NAAC UGC & selected as 'College with Potential for Excellence' by UGC and also Autonomous status awarded by UGC

What does Autonomy mean?
Lachoo Memorial College of Scienece & Technology as an Autonomous college, Please note, is not a Deemed to be University and therefore not empowered to offer degrees. It is permitted to formulate its own syllabus and establish its evaluation system i.e. conduct exams and publish results.

Degree Certificate to be issued by Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur
Though the college has been empowered to conduct examination for its students, the degree certificate will be issued by the University with the signature of Vice chancellor of Jai Narain Vyas University bearing the name of college.

Autonomous status awarded by UGC

Awarded 'A' grade by NAAC - UGC

The College opted for a rigorous evaluation by the National Assessment and Accrediation Council(NAAC) of the University Grants Commission. The apex Council of NAAC awarded the top grade to the College. The College has gone through the re-accrediation process of the NAAC and in the third cycle college again was awarded a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.19 with 'A' grade. College with Potential for Excellence status awarded by UGC
To introduce the element of excellence in the College system, the University Grants Commission has identified a few Colleges and granted them the status of 'College with Potential for Excellence'. Based on the evaluation and recommendations of a committee, the University Grants Commission declared the Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology a 'College with Potential for Excellence'.

Model College (Center for Excellence) status awarded by Govt. of Rajasthan

The Department of College Education, Govt. of Rajasthan awarded the status of Model College (Center for Excellence ). The objective of establishing Model College by Govt. of Rajasthan is to make the College of National standard with such amenities and facilities so that the college may be a source of inspiration and provider of guidelines for other colleges in the State. Also the Govt. of Rajasthan provides financial help to the College.

Selected under Star College Scheme by Deptt of Biotechnolgy , Govt of India
The Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India has sanctioned over Rs. 55 lakh for augmenting Research facilities in the College. The scheme envisages a substantial increase in the proportion of hands-on experimental work by students , upgrading the skills of the faculty through training programmes.

Selected as BioInformatics Center by Deptt of Biotechnolgy , Govt of India
The Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India has sanctioned over Rs. 18 lakh for establishing BioInformatics Center.

Accredited by NBA-AICTE

D. Pharm. and B.Pharm. courses have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). NBA came into existence as an autonomous body with effect from 7th January 2010, under the aegis of AICTE, with the objective of Assurance of Quality and Relevance of Education, especially in technical disciplines, i.e., Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy, Hospitality and Mass Communication, through the mechanism of accreditation of programmes offered by technical institutions.
