Dr. Uma Ram, Head Extension Division,Arid Forest Research Institure(AFRI) Jodhpur-Forest and Environment

Dr. Bambir SIngh -President, Envirotech Instruments Pvt. Ltd., gave lecture on importance of Air Quality.

One day National Seminar on Global Management- Perspectives and Challenges organized on 30 Mar,2019. Prof. S. C. Sharma, Houston University, USA, Prof. T. K. Jain, Director, Gyan Vihar, Jaipur, Dr. Namrata Mehta, Dr.Neelam Kalla and CA Amita Bissa taken the lectures as experts in it. More than 200 students participated in it.

A National seminar on “Future Aspects of Mathematics” was organized on 19.1.2019 by Mathematics Department. Dignitaries Prof. Gulab Singh Ji Chouhan(Vice Chancellor,JNVU),Shri R.K.Yadav(Head,Maths department,JNVU), Prof. I.K.Rana(IIT Mumbai),Prof. S.L.Kalla,Prof. Dr. Gauarav Bhatnagar(Head,Maths Department,IIT Jodhpur) and Prof. Vivek Vijay(IIT,Jodhpur) were present. College Chairman Shri Praveen Mathur,Principal Dr. Rajeev Mathur and Head of Department Dr. G.S. Siodiya were also present. More than 250 students participated in the seminar. Why Maths should be studied? How it should be studied and its importance,future aspects were discussed and queries of students were resolved.

Extension lecture on mental health was organized for the students of public health on 6 th oct. 2018 in collaboration with Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur on the occasion of mental health week. Dr. Arvind Mathur,Ex-Principal , Dr. S.S. Rathore , Principal and Dr. G.D. Koolwal, HOD, dept. of the Psychiatry, Dr. S. N. Medical College shared their views on the topic. Dr. Rathore gave the formula of ‘3- S’, space, speed and strength to the students. Dr. Koolwal made aware about effects of excessive use and addiction of internet, social media and mobile phones through presentation To avoid excessive use of mobile he suggested the rule of 90:60:30. In that he said we should avoid use of mobile phone 90 min after waking, 60 min after lunch and 30 min before sleeping.

A two day National Seminar was held on 1st and 2nd February 2018 by the Department of Computer Science. The title was Digital India Present and Future.

The two days event was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Sancheti , the Chairman Manipal University Jaipur. Dr. Sanjay Gaden, Head State E- Governance – Mission Team, Gujrat was the guest of honor and Mr. O. P. Kasera, IAS, CEO Nagar Nigam Jodhpur was the chief guest.

Dr. Sandeep Sancheti, Dr. Sanjay Gaden, Dr. Sanjay Ramawat and Dr.Chandan Sen delivered their thoughts in the technical sessions. In the open house Mr. Chandan Sen (Technical Director, NIC Jaipur), Mr Pankaj
Bhandari ( G.M. Bharat net) Mr. Deepak Singh Gehlot (Director of Technosoft), Mr. Punit Rao, Mr Munir Ansari (Unimedia), Mr Kushagra Bhatiya and Sushil Sharma (Dream Team) were present.

A one day National Workshop was held on 3rd February 2018 by the Department of Zoology in collaboration with Department of Environment (Envirotech Center for Research Development, New Delhi).

The event was inaugurated and addressed by Dr. S.R. Vadera, Director, Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur, Mr. Ram Singh Charan, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Mr. S.K. Gupta, Director, Envirotech Research and Development, New Delhi and Dr. Deepankar Shah, Air Pollution Laboratory C.P.C.V., New Delhi.

An intellective workshop on Communication skills and Soft skills was conducted on 10th February, 2018 in the college auditorium for post graduate students from various streams. Eminent educationist and career counsellor Dr. Jyoti Kathju was the guest speaker for the day.

The programme started off with invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati Dr. Kathju nurtured the young minds by discussing how to hone the communication skills and also explained the different practical aspects to broaden the horizon of the young minds. She explained how efficient communication is not only an aqueduct for human connection but a key to personal and career success.

The workshop was enlightening as the young scholars gained immense knowledge about impeccable presentation skills, interview skills, apt body language, dress code and voice modulation.

In the open house discussion students actively participated and made it a literally enriching session.


A two day National Seminar was held on 6th and 7th February 2018 by the Department of Management. The title was Effect of technological changes on business environment.

The two day event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri N.N.Mathur, former Vice Chancellor National Law University, Jodhpur, Prof. Devashish Sanyal, Head, Management Department, Narsi Mohanji University, Prof.Karunesh Saxena from Mohan Lal Sukhadiya University, Udaipur and Mr. Sachin Mathur, Vice Chairman of Management Committee.

Prof. Devashish Sanyal, Prof. Karunesh Saxena and Dr. K. J. George from IIT Jodhpur delivered their thoughts in the technical sessions. In the open house session Mr. Sunil Talwar,M.D. Park Plaza, Mr. Bharat Kanugoo from handicraft Industry, advocate Kuldeep Mathur, president of lawyers association, Mr. Saurabh Rathi from Suresh Rathi Securities, Ms. Garima Tripathi, Branch Manager,ICICI Bank and Mr. Pankaj Bhandari General Manager, Bharat Net were present.
