About Our Institution
Lachoo Memorial College of Science and Technology is a co-educational institution established in 1965, having a rich legacy of imparting quality education for six decades. It is one of the most sought-after college in Western Rajasthan.
The college is affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. It is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and 12(B) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in its Fourth Cycle. Our institution takes pride in its Autonomous status since 2012 which enables us to stay ahead of the curve with an updated syllabus that reflects changing needs of the industry.
We offer a diverse range of programs across Science, Computer Applications, Management, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy and Engineering catering to the eclectic interests and aspirations of students.

Late Sh. Man Mohan Mathur 'Lachoo' Ji
Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology (Autonomous), Jodhpur, a pioneer in advancing higher education in science and technology was established in the fond memory of Late Sh. Man Mohan Mathur ‘Lachoo’ Ji by his elder brother Late Sh. Mathuradas Mathur ‘Bha’ Ji after untimely demise at the age of 40 (1921-1961).
‘Lachoo Ji’ was a freedom fighter, a prominent leader in the Quit India Movement, and a steadfast follower of Gandhian ideals. He played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle of Marwar.
Today, the college embodies the values of determination, resilience and service to society. The institution continues to inspire generations, blending its rich historical roots with a modern vision for education and innovation.
